Bill Hines was at the Ventura Nats... this car sticks out in a crowd

Bill Hines is regarded as one of the old time icons of hot rodding, and will likely be known as the best there ever will be at chopping a Mercury, freehand no less. But I think this car is not good looking, and that is writing with kindness.
