the word on the Jockey Journal is that the company of Stelling and Hellings went out of business in the 60's,  and sold air filter housings, and motorcycle handlebars http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10084

The last factory built Dragonsnake to be a barn find, spent the last 30 years in a garage in Anaheim. It was raced at Monterey in 1974, then stored away... and the owner just left it alone.

It's one of 2 factory built with the 325 hp Stage III d Competition 289's. Only 6 DragonSnakes were built
